- Se van tomando las hojas de milpa por el lado mas grueso, se cubren con dos cucharas generosas de masa y se envuelven de forma triangular.
- Finalmente, se van acomodando en una vaporera o tamalera y se cuece durante una hora aproximadamente o hasta que la masa se desprenda fácilmente de la hoja.
- Para la salsa.
- Se pone a calentar la manteca, en la que se acitronaron las rajas, la cebolla y el ajo, se añade el jitomate y se deja hasta que este chinito, entonces se agrega la sal, el agua y la crema y se deja sazonar, cuidando que no hierva, durante unos cinco minutos mas.
- Las corundas las puede acompañar de un delicioso plato de frijoles negros.
